NIGHTWISH singer Floor Jansen will release a new solo single, “Run”, on Friday, June 26. The track is the first taste of Floor’s new solo music following the arrival of her debut album, “Paragon”, which came out in March 2023.

On Saturday (June 20), Floor announced the release on their social media:

I’m so happy to finally share this with you: my new single ‘Run’ will be yours on June 26th.

To me, ‘Run’ is about no longer making yourself smaller to fit into a shape that was never yours. It’s about taking off the mask, trusting your own movement, and daring to be seen that way. Musically, it feels like the start of something new. A little heavier, a little more direct, but still honest, still melodic, still completely me.

I’ve been looking forward to this moment for a long time, and I can’t wait for you to hear it!
