Secret Rule release their new single and music video titled “Silent Pain”

Italian modern metal band Secret Rule presents its powerful new single “Silent Pain,” the third track from their upcoming tenth studio album “X,” which is set to be released on October 24, 2025, via Rockshots Records.

Following the dynamic “Just a Sacrifice” and the evocative “Echoes of the Earth,” “Silent Pain” delves into the emotional realm of hidden pain. With haunting melodies, cinematic arrangements, and raw, confessional lyrics, the song captures the invisible battles we fight behind closed doors — where pain is cloaked in silence and strength is found in vulnerability.

“The song ‘Silent Pain,’ which I connect with deeply, is about giving voice to emotions that we often keep buried. Singing it felt like I was releasing something I had been holding inside for years,” shares singer and songwriter Angela Di Vincenzo.

Musically, the track combines heavy melodies with fragile atmospheres, reflecting the duality of emotional turmoil and healing. Guitarist and producer Andy Menario explains: “I wanted the guitars to echo the inner chaos and quiet despair behind the lyrics — sometimes heavy, sometimes fragile, just like the human mind.”

As with the rest of the album, the song was produced entirely by the band. Angela Di Vincenzo wrote the lyrics and vocal melodies, while Andy Menario handled the orchestration, mixing, and mastering at Digitall Studio. The drums were recorded at Alpha Music with Andrea Miazzetto providing a tense yet fluid performance and Sofia Basili adding depth and vocal harmonies on bass.

Secret Rule’s upcoming album, “X,” celebrates their tenth anniversary with a bold and contemporary sound, combining modern metal intensity, symphonic textures, and electronic experimentation. The album explores themes of collapse, resistance, and rebirth—Silent Pain is one of its most intimate and cathartic moments.
