The Billions Club is basically a a Spotify playlist that first started in 2020 and highlights tracks that hit one billion streams or more. Once you make the playlist, you get a Billions Club plaque, too.
It’s the first time SLIPKNOT’s managed to crack the billion stream threshold with any of their songs, joining roughly a thousand other tracks to make the mark. “Duality” joins the likes of AEROSMITH’s “Dream On,” SURVIVOR’s “Eye of the Tiger,” GUNS ‘N’ ROSES’ “Paradise City,” and three METALLICA singles: “Nothing Else Matters”, “Enter Sandman” and “Master Of Puppets.” Some of the more recent members of this club are PAPA ROACH’s “Last Resort,” EVANESCENE’s “Bring Me to Life” and SYSTEM OF A DOWN’s “Toxicity”.
“Duality” appeared on 2004’s “Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)”, which landed at No. 2 on Heavy Consequence‘s ranking of SLIPKNOTt’s studio albums while the respective video in youtube has over 459 million views.
