Black Lion Records
Black Lion Records is an independent Swedish extreme metal label founded in 2012 by Oliver Dahlbäck, who originally launched the Black Lion Productions fanzine in 2008. Based in Umeå/Villaryd, the label specializes in death metal, doom metal, black metal, and other forms of extreme metal. Its artist roster includes bands like Aegror, Carpatus, Frowning, Sons ov Omega, and Temple of Demigod. Known for its DIY approach, Black Lion Records focuses heavily on physical formats such as CDs, vinyl, and cassettes, distributing through Bandcamp, its own webshop, and third-party partners like Sound Pollution and Plastic Head.
