In the latest episode of War Council, the online show by Metalwar.gr, available on our YouTube channel, we had the pleasure of welcoming Marianna Florou, vocalist of PROJECT RENEGADE. Ahead of the band’s appearance at Metal Union Festival 2026 on Saturday, August 29, we had the opportunity to talk with Marianna about the band’s past and future, the challenges they face, and the ambitions that continue to drive them forward.

Based in Athens, PROJECT RENEGADE have already released two full-length albums and one EP, while maintaining a strong live presence through appearances at major festivals such as Rockwave Festival and Release Athens, as well as performances in numerous cities across Europe. They have shared the stage with renowned acts including Evanescence, Slipknot, Bullet for My Valentine, Leaves’ Eyes, and many more. Known for their powerful stage presence, boundless energy and modern alternative metal sound, the band has steadily established itself as one of Greece’s most promising heavy music acts.
