GOD UNKNOWN make their official recording debut with “Embraced By The Moonlight”, an atmospheric doom metal single that draws listeners into a world of haunting beauty, slow-burning intensity, and profound emotional expression.

Formed in 2022 by John Courage in Cardiff, UK, GOD UNKNOWN brings together musicians from the United Kingdom and Sweden. United by a shared passion for atmospheric doom metal, John assembled a group of talented musicians he had met throughout the years, all driven by the same vision: to create immersive, emotionally charged music.

Four years of songwriting, collaboration, and refinement have culminated in the band’s forthcoming debut album, “Last Glimpse of Daylight”, scheduled for release on 31 July 2026.

With “Embraced By The Moonlight”, GOD UNKNOWN lay the foundation for their musical identity. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics and philosophy of doom metal while forging a distinctive sound of their own, the band places atmosphere, dynamic songwriting, and honest emotional expression at the heart of their music.
