To celebrate, King Satan are now releasing a new single and video for ‘Light of Darkness’, which is streaming via the band’s YouTube channel.

Frontman King Aleister Satan comments on the track: “‘Light of Darkness’ is industrial metal to the people who don’t like industrial metal. This song is probably not even industrial metal at all, like half of our songs are not. But that’s not important. What is important is that it has blast beats and disco beats mixed together. We are a nightmare for anyone trying to categorize our music. Alas, we make music to be listened to, not categorized. Here you hear influences from symphonic metal, classical music, and religious hymns, tied together with rocking industrial metal (which is not even industrial metal) that you can mosh and/or dance to.

Founded in 2015 in the city of Tampere (FI), King Satan have steadily carved out a distinct identity within the alternative, industrial and extreme metal scenes, gaining loyal following through relentless touring, provocative theatrics and a mercurial sound resonating somewhere between avantgarde and shock rock. Originally a solo studio project, the act crew into a full line-up band known for their energetic live shows, trickster-like narrative and infectious charisma.

King Satan have toured extensively across their native Finland and Europe with own their headliner shows and also supporting such prominent names like Deathstars, Turmion Kätilöt and Gothminister. Touring has taken the band to perform to prestigious metal festivals as well like Tuska Festival and Masters Of Rock but also to acclaimed industrial-alternative festivals like Dark Malta and Hellsinki Industrial Festival – demonstrating the band’s versatile genre-defying expression.
