SEPULTURA announces last-ever concert

After more than four decades of bringing heavy music to the world’s biggest stages, Brazilian/American metallers SEPULTURA have announced the final show of their career. The historic performance will take place on November 7, 2026 at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil, marking the end of one of the most influential journeys in the history of heavy metal worldwide.

There have already been announced some of the support groups that will perform for SEPULTURA’S last act. Brazilian death metal band KRISIUN are locked in to perform, as well as American thrashers SACRED REICH. Special guests will be METAL ALLEGIANCE, the supergroup that includes Dream Theater’s Mike Portnoy, Troy Sanders of Mastodon, Chuck Billy and Alex Skolnick of Testament, Mark Menghi, and Phil Demmel. More special guests for the performance will be announced soon.

SEPULTURA picked the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu as their final performative resting place because of the special nature the venue holds for them as a band. They’ve been involved with the venue since the early 90s, evening holding one their most iconic sets happened in the Praça Charles Miller portion in 1991. That performance helped put them on the map in the country, making it a fitting place to say their farewells.
